A few weeks ago, London’s trio Kero Kero Bonito shared a video for “The Open Road“, the second track of a new double A-side single. They’re now unveiling the visuals for the opening track, “Swimming,” which is also featured on their latest album Time ‘n’ Place. About “Swimming”, the band stated:

[su_quote]It is about visiting the beach with your mother as a child, and returning as an adult without her. It’s a tribute to growing up, our mums and the ’70s singer-songwriters we enjoy together.[/su_quote]

Directed by James Hankins, the accompanying visuals were shot off the coast of Dorset and definitely inspire a desire to travel to England. Watch below.

For their second album which was released by surprise, Kero Kero Bonito are giving their bedroom guitar pop tunes some self-directed VHS-like visuals. They already shared clips for several tracks, including “Make Believe” and “Time Today“, and their last offering accompanies the track “Flyway”. You can watch it below, and check as well the dates of their current world tour which will make a stop at Brussels’ Beursschouwburg.

The details about Kero Kero Bonito‘s second album “Time ‘n’ Place” are trickling in. Today, we learn that the British trio will release their new project on Polyvinyl. Coming with this announcement, Kero Kero Bonito also unveiled a brand new song titled “Make Believe” and the B-side of this track is nothing more than the previously shared “World Tour 2018” – which obviously announces a world tour. London trio Kero Kero Bonito should share anytime soon the follow-up to their 2016’s debut LP “Bonito Generation”. Earlier this year, they surprised everybody with a new sound and a 4-track EP “TOTEP”. The trio headed by singer Sarah Midori Perry aka Sarah Bonito has just announced a world tour and they made a theme song about it. Listen to the aptly named single “World Tour 2018” and check their full itinerary below. It features a show in Brussels’ Beursschouwburg on November 23.

London-based trio Kero Kero Bonito are one of those bands that are so hard to pin down. After their hyper-pop debut album “Bonito Generation” back in 2016, they surprised a lot of fans by dropping a guitar-driven EP “TOTEP” earlier this year. Now, they’re back with a James Hankins-directed video and new single “Time Today.” They also announced their sophomore album “Time ‘n’ Place” but except of its title, we don’t know anything more at the moment. As their vocalist Sarah Midori Perry sings: “I got so much more to say” so stay tuned.
