Tourist shares quirky video for last single “Sleepwalking”

British producer Tourist shared last Friday his latest EP called “Wash” and decided to give to the first single “Sleepwalking” a quirky video treatment.

Since releasing his debut in 2012, the producer haven’t stopped, releasing not less that an album and 3 EPs. “Wash” follows his already long list of club bangers where he explores a certain melancholia in the art of moving your body, where dance your pain away takes a whole new sense. About his last EP, Tourist stated:

[su_quote]With this new music I wanted to make something that was more reflective of who I am now and how my life has changed over the past year. I moved out of my windowless studio and started writing from home again. I think subconsciously I’ve started writing more joyous, colourful music and I’ve loved being more collaborative once again. These tracks are my favourite music I’ve produced so far, Tourist will always change with each release and I’ve loved pushing the sound into a new place.[/su_quote]

Tourist shared video for track "U" plus a remix for Christine & The Queens

UK electronic producer Tourist revealed the video for “U” co-directed by Jacob Robinson and Dillon Moore.

Capturing very well the mesmerizing atmosphere of the track, the video is impressively beautiful. The creative director also designed the “U” album cover. After winning a Grammy last year thanks to his participation on Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me”, Tourist finally released his successfully debut album that he wrote in several years.

The video was directed by Jason Drew and Davy Evans who is already behind some work with The XX and they have now worked on a very symbolic video for Tourist marrying perfectly his electronic sounds.
