“Butter” is taken from Triathalon‘s self-released album Butter.
New York crossover indie-R&B trio Triathalon have just shared a video for “Butter”, a hazy and laid-back highlight from their 2018’s record. Directed by Clayton McCracken, with assistance from 3D artist Cody Samson, the visuals recall the anime of some Youtube’s lo-fi and chill hip-hop channels, as well as the vaporwave aesthetic. Is it actually that surprising for an album that is called Online? Watch the psyche-friendly video below.
