Swedish duo Ebba Agren and Michael Gustafsson are the exciting young musicians that comprise to make Wy. Why they are named Wy is unknown to us. Wy combine a simple and dreamy beat with “floating synths and melancholic guitars” to create a mystical track – ‘In Bloom’.
Agren sings with a whispering and pleading voice that is alluring and gripping. Her voice seems to strain with emotion which adds such depth and power to a light song. ‘In Bloom’ is their latest release and looks to be Wy’s first before they release an EP rumored to be out this fall. The accompanying video is equally artistic and well produced and mirrors the style of the song brilliantly.
