Yuno shares nostalgic and floatting new single “Why For”

“Why For” is taken from Yuno‘s 6-track “Moodie” EP due out on June 15 via Sub Pop.

It’s in his bedroom in Jacksonville, Florida that Yuno has crafted most of his songs. This is actually crazy to read when you hear how refreshing theese tracks are. The artist, who was signed to Sub Pop after having caught the attention of Shabazz Palaces‘ member Ish Butler on SoundCloud, has now shared the follow-up to his excellent breakout single “No Going Back”. Carried away by a bold reverb, his voice is floatting and echoing melancholic guitar riffs and his soaring singing even reminds us of emo-acts like Lil Peep at times. The track comes with a self-directed video. About the visuals, Yuno detailed:

The video is kind of a visual representation of what I felt while creating the song. A collage of memories, drifting through different moods and trying to figure out a way to make it all make sense.
