[su_dropcap style=”simple”]Y[/su_dropcap]aeji‘s new track “New York 93” is a sweet experimentation between alt-R&B, electronica and lo-fi pop and it is sung both in English and Korean. This calm strength song sounds inoffensive when it begins but then, it progressively grows until becoming a melodious and heady weapon that hits you straight in the head and remains there for a long time.

“New York 93” is the debut of Manhattan-based young artist with Brooklyn’s label Godmode, which notably supported Shamir. The track also comes with an Anthony Sylvester-directed video that is a dreamed urban ode to NYC, the city where she was born in 1993.
