American trio Faded Paper Figures just released their new EP “Chronos”; a new project where the band keep on combining acoustic elements with a waterfall of synths and harmonies.
Faded Paper Figures are comprised of R. John Williams (Vocals, Guitar), Kael Alden (Guitar, Drums, Keys, Machines), and Heather Alden (Additional Vocals). They are active since 2005 and never stopped releasing EPs and albums since then. Recently, they shared their last project, “Chronos EP,” which features 5 new original tracks and two remixes signed by French producer Matt Fax and deep house legends Late Night Alumni.
“Figured It Out” is clearly a highlight on this new EP. The track has a powerful melancholia, both in the lyrics and in its sound. The vocals are flying on the synths like ghosts and there’s a break in the middle of the track that really catches me at every play!

not even time to kill.
I figured I’d out myself,
this emptiness I feel for you.[/su_quote]
