Montreal’s indie artist Helena Deland is the first signee on Luminelle Records, a record label formed by the collaboration of Gorilla vs. Bear with Fat Possum/House Arrest.
Following up to her first “Drawing Room EP” in 2016, Montreal’s indie artist Helena Deland is back today with a new track, “There Are A Thousand”, which announces a series of couplet tracks which will be compiled into the album “Altogether Unaccompanied” Vol. I & II due March 2. The artist, who describes her songwriting as a collection of ‘unsent letters,’ delivers a beautiful and lovely vocal performance on an instant and genuine track that actually reminds us of Sharon Van Etten at times.
