“No One Else” is taken from Ed Mount‘s sophomore EP due April 12 on FUTUR-Records.
Some years ago, Parisian self-taught multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer Thibault Chevaillier escaped the stiffness of music conservatories to find a new freedom through his solo outlet Ed Mount. The jazz-trained and classic rock-fed musician who made a name for himself with his 2018’s debut EP Space Cries is now readying the release of his sophomore EP, in which he claims more horizontal ambitions.
Taken from this yet untitled collection of minimalist songs, his new offering “No One Else” is a silky slice of bedroom pop which combines a soft influence of the French Touch with the warmful groove of soul music. The sensual track also comes with a Mathieu Teissier-directed video that you can watch below.
