ooi‘s self-released new track, “High”, is out now.
Earlier this year, we introduce you to ooi, an intriguing avant-pop trio with members in three different country, composing music online without meeting in person. Following up on their recent Ghost EP, they are now returning with a brand new single, “High”, which digs a bit deeper into their imaginative and surreal universe. According to the band, the sophisticated track is “a sunny but twisted cabrio cruise down Mulholland Drive. Our pet albino alligator Rita is in the passenger seat, enjoying the wind.” A Hollywood story about love, existential doubts and loneliness, “High” is not as bright as it sounds at first.
