“Said It Again” is taken from ISOLA‘s upcoming EP1, out October 2 via Godmode.
Four years ago, when she was known as Gioia and was based in Brooklyn (she’s now relocated to the Las Vegas desert), Ivana Carrescia collaborated with Godmode‘s mastermind and producer Nick Sylvester on her Gioia EP. The two of them have now linked up again for the EP1, her first release as ISOLA that will also be published on the famous boutique label that unearthed Shamir, Yaeji and Channel Tres. The 7-track project is introduced by “Said It Again”, a metronomed yet elegant electronic track which combines glassy vocals, musique concrète influences and a minimal house beat.
