New York duo Fcukers, made up of Shanny Wise and Jackson Walker Lewis, are a project we’ve been following closely for some time now, and their momentum and buzz continue to grow. After turning heads with last year’s Baggy$$ EP, one of our favourite projecs of that year, the pair have quickly cemented themselves as one of the city’s most exciting new electronic acts, blending playful attitude with serious dancefloor instincts.
Now, they’re getting ready to take a big step forward with their debut album Ö, out March 27 via Ninja Tune. The record was produced by Kenneth Blume, formerly known as Kenny Beats, with additional production from 100 gecs‘ Dylan Brady on four tracks, and features previously released bangers “Play Me” and “I Like It Like That.” The album captures the rush and chaos of a wild night out, moving through highs, lows, and everything in between.
To celebrate the announcement, Fcukers have dropped a brand-new single, “L.U.C.K.Y,” along with a video directed by Shanny Wise. Bright, bouncy, and built to keep bodies moving, the track leans into the duo’s playful side while keeping that irresistible pulse front and center.
