ahaComa‘s new song “Comfort Coma” is out now on It’s Not Records.
Founded as the solo project of Charlotte’s Rob Losier, ahaComa turned into a duo after the singer-songwriter met Hannah Finley in an open mic. Although they’re simply crafted with a guitar, a ukulele and a drum machine, their indie pop tracks embrace a certain level of sophistication, as heard on their new offering “Comfort Coma”. With its surprising pace changes and its youth commentary, the luminous track, which comes straight from a Nashville studio, lays the foundation for a new music genre that the duo named American Daydream.
About the track, ahaComa detailed:
‘Comfort Coma’ is about not losing our souls in a world designed to isolate and insulate us from ourselves and each other. It’s about staying uncomfortable and digging deep for that wet soil of our hearts.
