Bellhouse‘s new single “Mess” is out on ART:ERY.
Hailing from Gothenburg, Emma-Lee Andersson better known as Bellhouse rekindles the flame of 90s flamboyant pop with her new single “Mess”. If you grew up with the exuberant choruses of early-Britney Spears, S Club 7, Samantha Mumba and all their fellows, this song and its implacable chorus will sound quite familiar. This is not that easy to come up with a hook that sounds so contagious and heady and there’s something quite mathematical here. It’s maybe not a coincidence that Sweden is also the country of Nobel prize. In any case, in a wave of minimalism and standardization, the expansive and vintage approach of Bellhouse is more than welcome. Tune in below.
