Bye Beneco share video for electric dream pop single “It’s Not True Love”

Bye Beneco‘s self-released new single, “It’s Not True Love,” is out today.

Hailing from Johannesburg, South Africa, Bye Beneco is a dream pop three-piece consisting of Lenny-Dee Doucha (vocals and keys), Bergen Nielson (drums) and Daniel Knight (guitar). On their brand new single “It’s Not True Love,” the three musicians speed it up and bring their ethereal sound on the dancefloor. Infused with a disco vibe, the electric and seductive single encapsulates the feelings of love disillusionment and recklessness.

The captivating track also comes with an Emilie Badenhorst-directed video whose phallic intro somehow recalls the first scene of Stanley Kubrick‘s Dr. Strangelove to mind. In between desire and friction, the stunning visuals also address the question of sexual identity by showcasing a beautiful lesbian kiss. Watch below.
