Dama Scout – Forget It’s Good

With their debut song “Forget It’s Good“, alternative rock trio Dama Scout both makes you dream and wakes you up.

Formed via Glasgow and London, Dama Scout draws inspirations from varied universes, such as Cocteau Twins, The Beach Boys, shoegaze, dream-pop, or even Shibuya-kei (a subcategory of indie rock music coming from the Shibuya district of Tokyo).

“Forget It’s Good” is dreamy and airy, driven by the timeless vocals of a female singer that sounds half-present. Maybe a part of her is still in the 90s… Anyway, feel free to dream while listening to the track. But beware of the raw riffs of guitar that will drop and disturb your rest. Forget it’s good, and welcome back to reality!

About the video, the band explains that it is a mix of own family home movies and archive footage that create an exhibition of loneliness when mixed together.

“Forget It’s Good” is one of several songs that were written and produced almost entirely in a bedroom in 2016. Thus, we can expect more music from this new band soon!
