Fanclub share pulsating and dazzling new dream pop track “Stranger”

Fanclub‘s “Stranger” is taken from their debut All the Same EP to be shared January 2019 via newly founded Berlin based label Friendly Reminder.

Hailing from the capital of Texas, Austin, up and coming band Fanclub write sad uptempo music which intermingles beauty and pain on blazing layers of guitar. Drawing from dream pop and synth-pop, their pulsating new offering “Stranger” is no exception. About the follow up to “Reflection”, Fanclub‘s singer Leslie Crunkilton detailed:

‘Stranger’ is about falling out of love. Even when it’s obvious what is happening, there is the instinct to try and maintain the illusion that everything is okay. This song is positioned at that devastating moment when a decision is made, and you have to learn how to continue loving.

Before adding:

The last line “Now let it go, we’re all the same. We’re all, we’re all, we’re all the same” removes blame, and joins us all in the shared experience of love and loss.
