“Dragonfly” is taken from Fauness‘s new EP, Maiden No More, out October 8 on Cascine.
Following up from her 2018 EP Toxic Femininity, Fauness is readying the release of her fairy pop new EP, that she co-produced alongside Jam City (who released her previous tracks on his Earthly label). There’s something glittery and ethereal in this collection of four new tracks, named after Thomas Hardy’s tragic late 19th century odyssey about a young woman caught between worlds. Exploring the themes of liberation and transformation, the enchanting first single, “Dragonfly,” comes with a video that she co-directed with Aarony Bailey.
