VIMALA are headed by 25-year-old multidisciplinary artist Adrien Casalis. This Paris-based talent was a member of the electro-rock band CABEZA DE VACA while creating music for theatre and cinema. Besides music, he is also an actor, photographer, and director. As you might have guessed it, Adrien throws everything at you. The band’s name, VIMALA, is a hint at the Indian actress Vimala Pons.

VIMALA recorded a 5-track EP in a home studio with the help of the whole Casalis‘ family (Adrien‘s brothers are respectively sound engineer and cellist). The final project will be released on January 20 via Opening Light. Meanwhile, you can listen to “Sailing Soul” over and over.
