Indie rock activist band HAWK, which is led by the guitarist-vocalist Julie Hawk, are back this month with an upcoming EP “She Knows”. Watch the video for the single “Static” and check they will be playing near you for their UK and Ireland coming tour.
HAWK don’t want to be labeled as a political band. Nevertheless, one can say that they are at least activists as they regularly deal with and mirror the inequalities and exclusions they meet in their everyday life. Those themes are turned into (post-)rock tracks and videos, just like with this new single “Static” that is definitely targeting political maneuvers. As the band detailed:
“Static” will be featured on their upcoming EP “She Knows” which is out on March 17 via Veta Records. HAWK will also be touring in March through the UK and Ireland. Check the full itinerary below:
