“Rise” is taken from Helena Deland‘s “Altogether Unaccompanied” Vol. III & IV, out October 19 on Luminelle Recordings.
Montreal’s singer-songwriter Helena Deland continues to unveil the songs from her “Altogether Unaccompanied” series petal by petal. As she explained, “the songs are to be considered as their own little things. They are part of something larger, yes, but they live on their own.” Following up on nocturnal synth-pop “Claudion” last month, she has now shared “Rise”. It is an intimate guitar ballad with a majestic resonance. Listen to it below.
