American singer-songwriter from Arizona, J Lind, just released a debut EP, prior to a string of shows in Europe in the spring. Taken from this 5-track release, here is the Eric Hayes-directed video for the lead single “I Don’t Know.”
The 21-year-old artist, who attended Princeton University on scholarship, recorded his debut solo EP at The Chapel in Nashville. The lead single, “I Don’t Know,” is a beautiful folk ballad that comes with a video that the artist likes to describe as “socially relevant folk filmed in the mountains of Alberta.” The arrangements and the production are simple but super efficient and the rendition is soul-stirring, without falling into the trap of “pathos-drama”.
