JPEGMAFIA unveils visuals for Helena Deland-assisted track “Free The Frail”

“Free The Frail” is taken from JPEGMAFIA‘s album All My Heroes Are Cornballs, out on EQT Recordings.

Baltimore avant-garde rapper Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks, better known as JPEGMAFIA or Peggy, has just unveiled a video for “Free The Frail”, a highlight from his recent album All My Heroes Are Cornballs. The track also features Montreal’s singer-songwriter Helena Deland. Smoother in terms of both sounds and lyrics (“I’m not no alpha male, I’m Carly Rae, you Braden Walker (Damn),” he raps), the vulnerable track also comes with a short statement from the artist: “wasn’t going to put this on the album. but i’m happy i did. i hope this song helps u and i love u.” Watch the Andrew Mcglennon-directed visuals below.
