Hailing from Los Angeles, Junaco is the brainchild of Pakistani songstress Shahana Jaffer and guitarist and percussionist Joey LaRosa. Helmed by producer Omar Yakar, who previously worked for the likes of The War on Drugs and Perfume Genius, their forthcoming debut EP is a stunning collection of tracks detailing the emotions of freedom. Dealing with experiences and hardships the band has personally faced, these honest songs have a healing, cathartic power.
