To be honest, I was a bit hesitant to see a k?d submission in my inbox because for the past few months, his tracks have sort of sounded a bit too similar– there’s always a buildup leading to a chorus, with the same sound effects, and though his music sounds great, repetitiveness can be exhaustive.
However, his new remix of Justice‘s “We Are Your Friends” might be on to something outside of his usual box. While the explosive energy of singles past continues to dominate in this remix, that’s not a bad thing by any means; the original song does it.. Justice and k?d skillfully weaves his way around the catchy, rave-ready OG track to make an upgraded hit. A unique take on a classic track. Everyone needs to check it out ASAP!
