Kisos‘ new single “Happily Ever After” is out on Miller Place.
Bay Area-born, New York-based singer-songwriter Kisos has just shared the visuals for his latest single “Happily Ever After”. A soulful and uplifting earworm paradoxically dealing with heartbreak, the track was co-produced by Kyle Patrick and mastered by Joe LaPorta. In the accompanying visuals, which were made in collaboration with his flatmate Adam Ouellette, Kisos is bringing the viewers into the intimacy of his flat where he tries to survive and recover from a life shaking breakup. From his bed to his shower, the queer artist doesn’t hesitate to show his vulnerability. To keep it authentic, the artist explained to Billboard that the scenes of the video were shot in the actual locations of his heartbreak, with actual clothing from his ex boyfriend.
Heartbreaks have always been a wellspring of inspiration for artists. Kisos actually put the topic at the heart of his forthcoming sophomore EP, sweet nothings, where each track corresponds to one of the 5 stages of grief. We don’t have yet a release date for the EP but cheer him up by watching his debut visuals in the meantime.
