Austin-based indie pop band Alex Napping are ready to release their sophomore LP in May (the first one via Father/Daughter Records). Following the lead single “Living Room”, listen to “You’ve Got Me” and watch their new video for “Fault” below!
Alex Napping is headed by Alex Cohen and this new album, “Mise En Place”, tells the story of her conflicting roles as both person and partner while highlighting a sophisticated, dimensional sound from the band at large. The album is clearly centered on the guitar playing and its arrangements as you can hear it in the delightfully catchy “You’ve Got Me” below.
