Loved Ones share “End of an Error”, the first single from their new album

Formerly known as Seal Cub Clubbing Club, English indie quartet Loved Ones are ready to release their second album “Harness”. Taken from this sophomore LP, here’s “End of an Error”, a track that already announces an evolution in their sound.

Loved Ones have recently supported bands such as Minor Victories and Django Django while working on the evolution of their own sound. Indeed, if the band have debuted with a lo-fi track, things are a bit changed on this uplifting and catchy new track.

About this new single, lead singer Nik Glover commented:

We tried to turn our traditional song structure on its head in ‘End of an Error’, piling all the melodies into the verse and letting the chorus speed past with hardly any vocals. It’s a song about naive teenage love and regret, and why sometimes ripping up all your memories of a relationship is better than trying to hold on to it.

“End of an Error” will be featured on “Harness”, expected to hit the stores on May 5 via Blood Records. It will be the follow up to their debut “The Merry Monarch”. Meanwhile, connect with the Loved Ones on Facebook and Twitter.
