Magdalena Bay turn Valentine’s Day into Halloween with “Killshot”

Magdalena Bay‘s new single, “Killshot,” is out on Luminelle.

If like us, you can recite Mean Girls by heart, then you already know that Halloween is the perfect moment to be both sexy and spooky. And we’re pretty sure that Los Angeles pop duo Magdalena Bay watched the movie. On their funky, synth-laden offering “Killshot”, Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin depict a consuming and unfulfilled romance, singing that they are craving for “death kisses” in between two glasses of “sin and tonic”. As usual, the track comes with an inventive DIY video, where they revisit some horror scenes in a not so terrifying way, before perishing in a hell made of pixels. What if Love was your favourite scary movie?
