Major Murphy‘s “Come By Sunday” is the first single from their upcoming demos and b-sides Lafayette EP due out February 22 on Winspear.
Grand Rapids’ Major Murphy have announced the release of a new EP which follows up on their 2018’s debut album “No. 1”. The bedroom recordings of the Lafayette EP, named after the avenue where their house-studio was located, revisit the early days of the band when it was transitioning from Jacob Bullard solo project toward a rock trio. The first single “Come By Sunday” is a spleen-loaded and peaceful ballad with an autumnal sepia tone.
