With a singular and mature voice that doesn’t sound like her age, 17-year-old newcomer Millie Turner offers a remarkable debut track ‘Underwater’.
A few seconds are enough to understand the talent and potential of Millie Turner. ‘Underwater’ starts with heavy synths that are reminescent of Robyn‘s ‘Dancing On My Own’. It has also this breath of fresh air that we were feeling when listening to Lorde and Adele for the first time. It’s an instant pop gem that perfectly reflects youth, innocence and recklessness and we hope she will follow the same path that those artists.
David Turley, who produced the song, explained that he met the artist at a mutual friend’s house. He detailed:
Millie‘s ‘Underwater’ has already received massive support from the blogosphere in a few days only and we hope she will maintain the momentum and share tracks as exciting as this debut.
