Writer and musician Matthew Hershoff recently shared a new track as Mons Vi. “Away” is a lo-fi pop ballad which is impossible to date and that will turn your bedroom into a trip through spacetime.
Mons Vi‘s “Away” is the proof that sometimes less is more. The guitar play is discrete, just as his voice hidden behind a retro filter, yet the result is immersive. It’s the kind of track you could listen laid on the bed and inviting you to travel just by closing your eyes.
