Ontario Basement Revolver’s single ‘Tree Trunks’ deals with mental health

Following up to their 2016’s succesful EP, Ontario trio Basement Revolver are going to release their upcoming EP ‘Agatha.’ So far, we already heard ‘Johnny Pt.2.’ Listen to their latest single ‘Trunk Trees’ which is a reflection about mental health.

Hailing from Hamilton, the trio already saw two of their previous singles, ‘Johnny’ and ‘Words,’ reaching the highest spot on Hype Machine.

About ‘Tree Trunks, lead singer Chrisy Hurn detailed:

Tree trunks was written when I started experiencing panic attacks for the first time, and my increasing need to find a professional who could help me to find better ways to cope. It also tries to mirror how I imagine the environment feels sometimes – and how the environment is tied to many people’s mental health. I was very fortunate to find the help that I needed and I would encourage everyone to go after the mental health resources that are available to them.
