India is not a place I often turn to for new hip music, but Parekh & Singh are a duo that just released a track that will remind you of someone like Sondre Lerche. Clocking in at two minutes and 41 seconds, “Newbury Street” is about homesickness, and drifts in a pleasant, breezy way. Nostalgic, but light.
If you’re a college student in Boston, it would be most fitting to listen to this track while walking down Newbury Street, that’s for sure.
