PREMIERE: Stream "Different Sun EP", Lee Triffon's hypnotic

If you are a loyal reader of HighClouds, you already know Lee Triffon. The singer-songwriter and producer, who was born in Tel Aviv but who is now based in Los Angeles, shares today her hypnotic indietronica project “Different Sun EP”. Stream it below!

This release follows up two excellent singles: “Different Sun“, a debut which sounds like Kylie Minogue on acid, and the excellent “Mirrors In The Sand“, a spellbinding and introspective synth-trip. Completing these two tracks, here are now “Silver Bullet Gun” and “Caves”. You can also listen to an orchestral and majestuous new version of “Mirrors In The Sand”.

As Lee Triffon likes to explain it, her “Different Sun EP” is the result of life’s experiences and of her journey as an artist and musician. A personal and fascinating challenge that was not that easy. She met a lot of twists and turns on the way but, finally, she can share with us her music translation of all these experiences.

As she wrote us:

Being able to create my own little world of sounds and visuals, was something I was passionate about ever since I remember and it is almost like a mission to me, to find the most accurate and pure version of it, and the more tools I learn in this process the closer I feel I come to it. Absorbing everything around me and trying to make sense of things, what is real what is just my imagination, what is the voice of my soul and what are the noises of expectation, I never know what comes next but I always do my best to listen.

From Israel to the US, from her previous music projects Mononokii and Kokoro to her solo career as Lee Triffon, the artist can be proud of what she has achieved so far. This music project, which was made in collaboration with my music producers Roey Avital of Garden City Movement, Ariel Levinsohn of Another MP, and Ariel Mann, was also her debut as a video director and editor.
