Prinze George‘s “Mind Over” is out now on AntiFragile Music.
Prinze George, the Brooklyn-based synth pop trio comprising Kenny Grimm, Naomi Almquist and Isabelle De Leon, are back today with “Mind Over”. Laid on a melancholic albeit hypnotic layer, the half-English half-French lyrics veer between elegance and bewitchment, bringing desire and mystery on the dancefloor. For some reason, the French accent on the verses is reminescent of Grace Jones – the attitude maybe – and the beats are definitely an invitation for some vogue moves. Welcome to the underground.
