Scandinavian duo Baula share nostalgic indie pop tune "Just Like Yesterday"

Swedish-Icelandic duo Baula, formed by Kallo & Ísak, recently shared a new indie pop tune. Their sophomore single “Just Like Yesterday” is a simple, catchy and straight-to-the-point alternative track that should easily appeal to the largest audience.

The duo, which is based in Gothenburg in Sweden, is pretty new. Indeed, “Just Like Yesterday” is ‘only’ their second single. They were actually formed in 2015, just before the famous festival Iceland Airwaves. Since then, they played some gigs and released a promising piano-pop debut called “Don’t Bother” but it is certainly this new guitar-driven single that should enable them to gain the attention they deserve. Moreover, with two tracks that don’t sound the same, Baula already showcase a wide range of influences and possibilities.

The cover art for both singles was made by Swedish artist Fanny Valentin.
