South London trio All The People have enrolled songstress Nadia Nair for their latest single “Repeaters”. It will be featured on their debut LP “R Together” which will hit the stores tomorrow!
Recalling trip-hop, electronic and soul acts such as Bonobo, Massive Attack, SBTRKT or Roisin Murphy, All The People have fairly gained support from major publications and are now ready to release their full-length debut. Taken from this new LP, here is the latest single from the trio. ‘Repeaters’ is an intense and dark track where the vocals of the half-Swedish half-Malaysian-Indian artist are bringing all the depth and seriousness.
About this collaboration, All The People detailed:
We teamed up with Swedish singer Nadia Nair after discovering her online & instantly falling in love with her unusual voice and style. We already had the instrumental for ‘Repeaters’ and we jammed with Nadia in London studio and hit it off straight away. The song is about family relationships for better or for worse and understanding your own feeling. The line “burn a thousand love letters and read every one’ is one of the darkest lines we’ve ever written as it relates to grief & personal loss and with the video & the artwork we wanted to continue with that theme of what’s left behind after a fire
The band will play live later this month in the UK. Check the dates and the listen to ‘Repeaters’ below:
Thurs 18th May 2017 @ Alternative Escape, Brighton
Weds 14th June 2017 @ The Waiting Room, London
