His incredible skill shines bright through 13 songs on the album alongside voices new and old to him. It features Dua Lipa, PinkPantheress, Clairo, Caroline Polachek, Oklou & MNEK, Julia Michaels, Kacha (from the electro-pop group Coals) and even one of his own daughters.

Harle, aka “Huge Danny,” considers Cerulean to be his true debut album, following up his 2021 release of Harlecore, and is promoting it as his most definitive artistic statement to date. The album does sound like it comes from another world full of sounds that are certainly welcome to human ears here. “I love how it feels on the threshold between dreams and reality,” said Harle. “There can be a scene where there’s nothing alien in it, but it feels like a portal to something else.”

Cerulean feels like the next natural chapter in Harle’s storied career, which began in the 2010s when he emerged from the PC Music collective and went on to work with some of the biggest names in pop including Charli XCX, Carly Rae Jepsen, FKA Twigs, Florence and The Machine and many of the voices featured on the album.

Last week, MNEK shared “Tongue“, one of his best singles so far. The 23-year-old artist, who seems to be embracing his new single life, proves that being sparkling and fierce is working out for him. We were impatiently waiting for the video and the least we can say is that we’re not disappointed. MNEK is unapologetically stuning and the vogue-infunsed moves are just a perfect fit. We have only one regret: please invite us to your next pop banquet.

MNEK‘s “Tongue” will be featured on his upcoming debut album. Meanwhile, follow him over Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

It’s been a few years that we have been all waiting for this and we can’t tell that we are disappointed. After years of working with the best pop artists of the moment, Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, and Stormzy, just to name a few, MNEK is releasing his debut LP. About the meaning of “Tongue”, he explained:

[su_quote]”Tongue” is a highly-sexed electronic banger about something really quite sweet, falling in love and being too nervous to say it out loud. “I’m putting both hands over my mouth, I can only hope nothing’s going to come out. There it is on the tip of my tongue, I think I love you.”[/su_quote]

MNEK‘s “Tongue” is out now.

[su_dropcap style=”simple”]I[/su_dropcap]ris Gold, who made herself known less than a year ago with her debut R&B track “Goldmine”, just dropped a new crazy single. “Freakaholic” is a cover of Egyptian Lover and this new version was produced by MNEK.

As you can read on her Soundcloud account:
[su_quote]The track was born spontaneously in the studio when Iris showed MNEK the video for the original on YouTube, and the two decided the sexy 80’s funk-house gem was due an update.[/su_quote]

The new version gets an obvious relift with a lot of attitude (did you recognize the sample of “Scandalous”?). As a club banger, it should definitely become a favorite piece for radios like BBC Radio 1 and DJs. It is quite different from what we heard from her so far but it proves her versatility and everyone need a kickstart like this to launch a career. We have to admit that it is not normally the music that we naturally cover but we have been seduced by this Fleur East-Uptown Funk vibes and by the production of MNEK.

Apparently, there is a video coming that was filmed during a Halloween warehouse party. While waiting for it, you can still watch the video of the original track by Egyptian Lover (1986):

And as a bonus, you can (re)discover her debut single “Goldmine”:
