There’s a lot of things happening for Pink Skies at the moment. Following up on the release of his debut single ‘Start.End’ and guitar appearances on BOSCO‘s ‘b.’, Arieh Berl aka Pink Skies is back with a second official single, ‘Gettin’ Old’, which is a cover of a 6LACK‘s ‘Free 6LACK‘ track. The final rendition is a total twist from hip-hop to psychedelic, chill and summer vibes; The kind of track that you indeed listen while looking at pink skies or at least dreaming of doing it.

I was driving around LA with my friend JT, who engineered my project and works with 6LACK, how much I loved the track and he said, “If you love the track so much, why don’t you cover it?” I thought it’d be cool, so I gave it a go and it turned into one of my favorite records on the project. I love the narrative – he starts by being thrown off by the girl, but by the end he’s throwing the girl off. 6LACK wrote a great song that I really connected with, and it would be really cool to collaborate with him on something one day if he ever hears it.[/su_quote]
