**“Singularity” is the title track of Jon Hopkins’ fifth album available via Domino.**

British producer Jon Hopkins has just shared a video for the title track of his fifth album. The choreographed visuals unveil a supernatural atmosphere and take place in an industrial zone where two characters enter in an ecstatic dance, between attraction and rejection. Jon Hopkins‘ music has always been cinematographic and this Seb Edwards-directed clip perfectly captures the growing intensity of the track. Watch it below and visit the artist’s website to check his upcoming live gigs.

Jon Hopkins shares blasting new single “Everything Connected”

Jon Hopkins‘ new album “Singularity” is out on May 4 on Domino Records.

English producer Jon Hopkins follows up on “Emerald Rush” with a brand new single and video taken from his upcoming fifth studio album “Singularity.” The new devastating single “Everything Connected” is actually a shortened edit of the album version (which lasts 10 minutes). Like for the previous single, it comes with a video but the animated work of Alex Grigg is definitely more abstract and molecular as we kind of follow the adventure of a microscopic jellyfish-like living creature in its infinitesimal and psychedelic environment. Watch it below.

Jon Hopkins shares “Emeral Rush”, announces new album “Singularity”

Arnaud Marty — Wed, 07 Mar 2018 11:56:15 +0000

Five years after the excellent album “Immunity”, English producer Jon Hopkins is back with a new track “Emerald Rush” which also announces the release of his fifth studio LP “Singularity”.

Jonathan Julian “Jon” Hopkins is finally back with a new track and video: “Emerald Rush”. The hypnotic single marks the beginning of a new era. Where “Immunity” was inspired by the dark alternative reality of an epic night out, Jon Hopkins‘ new album “Singularity” will explore the dissonance between dystopian urbanity and the green forest. The track’s structure and soundscapes might be poppier than his previous releases but Hopkins did not lose any ounce of his singular sound. It’s catchy, cinematic, and abrasive and the Robert Hunter and Elliot Dear-directed animated video that comes with it depicts very well the duality of darkness and light.
