“Lost At Night” is taken from The Seshen‘s upcoming new album, Nowhere, out October 6.
Emerging from the vibrant Bay Area music scene, The Seshen are a genre-defying sextet led by singer-lyricist Lalin St. Juste and bassist-producer Akiyoshi Ehara. They just announced the upcoming release of their album titled Nowhere, which opens a new chapter in their career. Within this project, they delve deep into the realms of love and loss, capturing the fluid essence of love, the intricate tapestry of human bonds, and the winds of change that sweep through life’s landscape. This thematic exploration holds particular significance as Lalin and Aki went from marriage to divorce, reshaping not only their personal relationship but also the interconnectedness of the entire band.
Alongside the album announcement, The Seshen also graced us with the release of their single “Lost At Night.” Amidst undertones of fear and uncertainty, this dreamy track describes the pivotal moment in a relationship when the realization of an inevitable end sets in.
