Unknown Mortal Orchestra rework SILICON’s “Cellphone”, go on tour with Lower Dens

Earlier today, one of our favorite bands Unknown Mortal Orchestra shared a track which is a rework of “Cellphone” originally performed by SILICON. The track was featured on SILICON‘s last album “Personal Computer” that was released in August. By the way, one of the SILICON‘s member, Kody Nielson, is actually the brother of Ruban Nielson…from Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

The track follows in the footsteps the musical direction that the band from New-Zealand has initiated with their third LP “Multi-Love”.
