visionnaire tackles racism in afrobeat-infused single ‘v (make a way)’

Last Summer, visionnaire was one of our newcomers and since then, the artist has been regularly releasing new music and gaining new fans. On his latest ‘v (make a way),’ the artist brings some afrobeat vibes in his soulful production and the result is just irresistible.

As visionnaire‘s detailed, ‘v (make a way)’ is centered on the black experience and was inspired by Eman Smith‘s short arthouse film ‘5th Realm.’ From day 1, visionnaire claims that his music is a real therapy and a journey to self-love. In this new single, he tackles racism and wonders why one can accept a culture but not the people.

The song comes to support his friends at #theblackout, a burgeoning organization dedicated to uniting and galvanizing black youth across the diaspora through social media. The artist got us used to engaged tracks as his debut single, ‘her aura loud,’ was dedicated to black women.
