Will Joseph Cook- Take Me Dancing

Seems like there’s an endless plethora of quality singer-songwriters from the UK, and Will Joseph Cook is not an exception. Today, Cook has released the infectiously addicting single “Take Me Dancing” in the midst of touring around the UK.

It’s been a little over a year since Cook released his two EPs, and the man has already played at SXSW for the first time, gotten onto good terms with the likes of Annie Mac over at BBC Radio 1, been a chart topper Hype Machine, and reaching #2 on Spotify Viral.

Will Joseph Cook’s previous two EPs are compilations of good natured acoustic pop and “Take Me Dancing” continues this sunny trend.

Cook continues to show off his affinity for catchy hooks with “Take Me Dancing”, an easygoing track that begins with thoughtful lyrical banter at the beginning before jumping into a chorus composed of a beachy pan flute, upbeat percussion, and of course Cook‘s melodic, bold voice guiding the way.

To sum it up, summer is well under way and while it will be hard to choose your Song of the Summer, “Take Me Dancing” is an easy listen to keep your spirits high and make the summery weather even more beautiful.

Cook’s headline London show is right around the corner on June 21st at Boston Music Room and you can get your tickets here.
