“Doce Violeta” is taken from Winter & Triptides‘ debut collaborative album “Estrela Mágica” due out September 28 via OAR.
Winter & Triptides is the duo comprising Los Angeles-based artists Samira Winter (Winter) and Glenn Brigman (Triptides). In September, after two years of home recording sessions, they’ll release their debut collaborative album which draws from Brazil’s Tropicália and 60s psychelia. This common passion can be heard on their new lo-fi and fuzzy single “Doce Violeta”, which follows up on “Amiga”. It’s a lush travel that we get here: back in time and to Brazil at the same time.
