Things are getting global for rising British teenager Yellow Days. Ahead of the release of his sophomore EP for this fall, the artist shares a new essential track and video for ‘Hurt In Love’.
Like us, you are probably following George van den Broek aka Yellow Days since Day 1 or at least since he has been discovered on Soundcloud thanks to his singular demos. Last year, he debuted his very promising ‘Harmless Melodies EP‘ and since then, things seem to turn a global turn as the artist is now on the radar of major publications. The Good Years-signee will release ‘Is Everything OK In Your World?’ EP this fall. It will feature the previously released ‘That Easy‘ and his brand new single ‘Hurt In Love’.
‘Hurt In Love’ is a psychedelic and soulful lament but also one of Yellow Days‘ best tracks.
‘Hurt In Love’ is the striking testimony of a victim of Love. The artist perfectly translates the fact that Love can also be particularly painful. The soundscape is rich and Van Den Broek’s vocals express the inevitable questions of a post-relationship period while losing themselves into the unknown. The psychedelic and soulful lament undoubtedly appears as one of Yellow Days‘ classics.
