“Dust” is taken from You’ll Never Get to Heaven‘s new album, Wave Your Moonlight Hat for the Snowfall Train, out November 19 via Mystic Roses and Séance Centre.
Canadian ambient pop duo You’ll Never Get to Heaven (Alice Hansen + Chuck Blazevic) has just announced the release of a new album, Wave Your Moonlight Hat for the Snowfall Train. The project is named after the closing track on Phil Yost’s 1967 release Bent City, “inspired by its prescient use of delay processing in elevating spare beatless arrangements into haunting arrays of sonic afterimages.” A spectral approach that also transcends their dream pop. Just in time for fall, they also shared the minimal and diaphanous first single, “Dust.” Listen and support via Bandcamp below, and stream it as well in our Best Tracks of 2021 playlist.
