Mysterious trio with roots in ten separate countries The Trp follows up to “Lavender” with another fresh R&B track that you may like ‘before you know it‘!

We don’t know a lot about The Trp – read ‘The Trip’ – except that the trio’s members have roots in 10 separate countries. It might explain the wide range of sounds that one can hear in each track. About their influences, they detailed:

We’re all mixed, which really influences our music,[…]We grew up listening to the wide range our families would play in the house from Fela Kuti to Portishead to Manu Chao.

Following up to “Lavender“, the band recently shared “Before You Know It”: a track which is dealing with relationships and self-esteem when people around you are trying to take advantage of you. As always, the vocals go with a rich instrumental, that demonstrates once again their creativity.
