a2ele‘s new track, “Mer & Pluie,” is out on Néoptères Records.
Paris-via-Le Mans up and coming singer-songwriter a2ele has just shared her first video. Like the previous single, “horizonfroid”, “Mer & Pluie” was produced by Jean Jarno. Combining trap and synthpop, the dreamy track tells the story of a budding relationship through the metaphor of a drifting boat. Reaching, hesitating, yielding… All this uncertainty recalls indeed the coming and going of the waves as well as the sinusoidal curves of the synthesizers. In the accompanying visuals, courtesy of director Ophélie Thiébault, the enigmatic artist is surrounded by an androgynous couple who sensually hugs and dances with her in the haze.
